Lucy Calkins' Writers Workshop Training: Benefits for our Students!

What an honor it was to attend the Lucy Calkins’ Writer’s Workshop training this summer! We cannot begin to tell you how wonderful it was to be trained by an educator who has taught the program in a classroom filled with second graders! It was truly an invaluable experience and we are so excited to implement the program, as well as all the ideas we received, into our classrooms. We know the children are going to love the authentic writing that this program encourages. Thank you Foundation!! We are so grateful to you for bringing the experts to us!
