  • Orton-Gillingham Math Training for Kindergarten through Fourth Grades Teachers: OG Math is a multisensory approach that leads the student through small increments of understanding toward unifying themes in mathematics.

  • Orton-Gillingham Reading for All Teachers: OG Reading is a structured literacy approach. It introduces the idea of breaking reading and spelling down into smaller skills involving letters and sounds and then building on these skills over time.

  • Kagan Cooperative Learning for All Teachers: Kagan Structures are instructional strategies designed to promote cooperation and communication in the classroom, boost students' confidence, and retain their interest in classroom interaction.

  • Dyslexia Endorsement for Interested Teachers: Teachers take 3 10-week courses focused on the principles of structured literacy, the practice of structured language and literacy teaching, the rationale for multisensory and multimodal language-learning techniques, adaptations to accommodate individual differences, ph0nological and phonemic awareness, phonics and word recognition, automatic fluent reading of text, vocabulary, listening and reading comprehension, and written expression.

  • Reading and Writing Strategy Resources by Jennifer Serravallo: These resource books contain 300 strategies in support of thirteen reading goals with each strategy cross-linked to skills, genres, and reading levels as well as a collection of strategies that span all aspects of the writing process, including all genres and modes of writing.

Student & Classroom Support

  • Sensory Hallway: A sensory path is a series of guided movements for kids to follow, shown by markings on the ground or walls. As students follow the path and complete the movements, they work off excess energy and develop their gross motor skills.

  • Acadience Learning Assessments: Acadience helps educators monitor reading proficiency across a variety of educational settings. By detecting when students need extra support, this tool helps teachers improve student outcomes.

  • SPIRE Decodable Readers: This robust library of 120 fiction and nonfiction decodable readers covers topics in science, social studies, and literature. Multiple reading selections for every concept allow students to apply new phonics skills to connected text.

  • Generation Genius Subscription: Generation Genius is a K-8 teaching resource that brings school science standards to life through fun and educational videos paired with lesson plans, activities, quizzes, and reading material.

  • Blast Off to Reading:  This reading program is research-based, explicit, structured, easy-to-use, multisensory, and interactive. Lessons are structured so as not to be overwhelming and to instill confidence.

  • Speech Grant: Playground signs allow students with limited verbal abilities to communicate their wants and needs while outside on the playground and bring awareness for our neurotypical children to bridge the gap and increase their understanding of our students with communication needs. Three new iPads with Touch Chat and a Go Talk device allow students to communicate and interact with their peers and teachers.
